"For YOU"

The Canary Islands are Spain when it suits them.

One of the things I've followed Quevedo's career and that generation of urban artists from "922-928" the most for is precisely because of the sense of belonging they so strongly defend about THEIR land. It must be that we've been used to being treated as "the last colony" of sun and beach to be exploited until its natural resources are exhausted, that we find it hard to believe that "we are important."

We're quite used to being at the bottom of absolutely everything, that sometimes we've felt quite distant. Even shipments seem like an impossible operation in that "same country."

The reality is that living thousands of km from a Central State that often thinks we arrive by metro from one island to another and that completely ignores our idiosyncrasies, and that many of us feel Canarian before anything else.

But of course, for one thing that "we guys" have... "the kingdom comes to the front" because it feels offended.

Well, here, with this one hour less, we're very proud to have young islanders who spent the quarantine in their homes producing music and trying to live their dreams... while others were collecting ERTE lying on the couch.

We're happy because this time, even with the one hour less, we're ahead

How important it is to have people from the land who are leaving us in such a good place.  They'd like an institutional campaign that has the media impact that "come to the Canary Islands, I'm going to give you a tour of the island" or "a perreito in Plaza in Playa del Inglés" has had

Putting the Canary Islands high on the world map

And yes, it will be nonsense for some who have everything very close, but for us who are thousands of kilometers away, they are small steps and details to have dignity, and above all, to preserve our identity.

We're not the Canary Islands of the "muyayo."

We're the Canary Islands of the trip, with no return ticket.

Of the paradise that we're fighting to free from cement... They'd like that very much!
