Don Benito, the good rabbit

Or how to RECLAIM THE TERRITORY AND THE DIGNITY OF THE PEOPLES

This Super Bowl was not just a spectacle: it was an act of presence. When Bad Bunny took the halftime of the most watched event in the world, on a gigantic stage, he did it in Spanish, with roots, culture, and Latin pride. Among sugarcane fields and the everyday simple pleasures: a little coffee, a drink, freshly done nails, a haircut; but always surrounded by music, neighbors, and dancingAnd, in symbiosis with the simplicity of happiness, it struck the right note: greatness lies in the fact that it has not been just music. It has been a silent and powerful declaration: that our languages, our rhythms, our stories, and our territories matter. Even if we are on the other side of the world, the periphery and the ultraperiphery count like any center. And we are part of it

Benito, who yesterday had little of the bad rabbit, poetically recounted that Latin America is not "on the margin," but rather is the center of culture, movement, and dignity.

Because reclaiming territory is not geography: it is identity, voice, and footprint. And when a Latin voice resonates before millions without asking permission, it is saying something profound: that all existences matter and that each experience builds a multicultural world. But, above all, it is saying that our heritage as beings who inhabit this world is worthy of being celebrated, not diminished.

More care for the planet as a whole and less supreme egocentrisms. It has become more than evident that this way, very well, is not going well for us

Long live Don Benito and long live the culture that makes politics without asking permission.
