The Yaiza City Council has launched a public tender for the contracting of electricity supply for public lighting of all received partial plans: Costa Papagayo, 'Plan Parcial Playa Blanca', San Marcial del Rubicón, Las Coloradas and Castillo del Águila, all located in the southern town of Playa Blanca; as well as the light service of the Institution's buildings and facilities, fixed or provisional, including the tender also the compensation of energy surpluses from photovoltaic installations for self-consumption connected to municipal dependencies.
Interested marketing companies have until Friday, November 17 to submit offers. The base budget for the tender for two years is "1,253,560 euros" with the possibility of "two more years of extension" and is valued as a proposal to "improve the installation of two charging points" for electric vehicles in the tourist center of Playa Blanca.
Also subject to this tender are "the conditions that must govern the contracting" of electricity supply at low voltage for powering the facilities of fairs, cultural and recreational events, on a temporary basis, that are promoted and organized by the Yaiza City Council in its municipal area.
The document facilitates the relationship of the Administration with a direct manager and the revision of the contracted powers according to the usual consumption so as not to have to pay more, with the price of energy and the price per contracted power being the main technical criteria.
The technical and administrative requirements that must be met by the marketing companies that intend to bid for the contract for these purposes are detailed on the public procurement platform. Bidders must be duly authorized by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce of the Government of Spain.
