The Yaiza City Council continues with the 'Park Renovation and Implementation of Inclusive Play Areas Program', launching a public tender this Monday for the new children's park in the town of Las Breñas with a base bidding budget of "370,000 euros", a municipal project that Yaiza is materializing with funds from the 'Municipal Cooperation Program of the Cabildo of Lanzarote'.

Companies interested in executing this commission can submit their offers until Monday, January 15, 2024, consulting the technical and administrative specifications on the virtual platform. “This contracting addresses the needs for renovation and updating of the facilities of the children's park located in the town square, which will have new and inclusive games, perimeter fencing, shaded areas and rubber flooring for greater safety of boys and girls,” explains the Councilor for Parks of Yaiza Rubén Arca.

The mayor Óscar Noda highlights that “we are a model municipality in Lanzarote in the implementation of inclusive and accessible parks, maintaining our policy of offering public spaces for recreation and coexistence where no minor feels discriminated against.” Yaiza will soon deliver the children's park located next to the CEIP Uga and one more in the picnic area of the same town.
