The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, received this Wednesday at the consistorial headquarters the four local police officers who have joined the staff of the Municipal Corps as agents in training at the Headquarters of the municipality, with the aim of completing 70 hours of training in the workplace and 40 more hours online, to begin on November 7 their performance as officials in practice, which means 1,200 more hours of work, and then sign in Yaiza as career officials.
Óscar Noda declares that “our commitment is to reinforce the human and technical resources of the Police, we are fulfilling and we will continue to do so for the sake of citizen security. We will incorporate more agents”.
The City Council delivered on October 17 three new vehicles to improve the endowment of the Local Police fleet, two patrol cars with a screen and an accident van, investing 130,000 euros, in addition to a radar for speed control, communications equipment and two drones for preventive services and search and location of people, among other resources.
Óscar Noda already announced that same day that Yaiza will tender one hundred surveillance cameras for different locations in the municipality and reported on the four agents who have now joined. The new agents were presented this Wednesday in the company of the chief officer of the Local Police, Vladimir Guadalupe, and two police officers who are part of the staff of the Corps, one of them, a union liaison.
