The Arrecife City Council has announced the start of the adaptation works and commissioning of the ornamental fountain of the Arrecife Maritime Park, known as the Theme Park. The Works area, led by Roberto Herbón, is in charge of carrying out the project.
From the Consistory they point out that the adaptation work will consist, "fundamentally, in re-fibering the area and in the installation of new spotlights that illuminate the fountain, which will have different colors." They also add that they will tidy up "the surroundings of the fountain, carrying out painting work and restructuring some walls that require intervention."
The Arrecife City Council explains that "a total amount of 21,025 euros has been allocated for the realization of this project" and that "the execution time to complete the work is one month."
"Arrecife deserves to have a park worthy of the third capital of the Canary Islands. For this reason, during these three years we have worked on the reform and maintenance of the Theme Park, so that in this way the people of Arrecife can stroll and enjoy this place," says the mayor of Arrecife, Ástrid Pérez.
"This emblematic place of the capital will recover the good condition it deserves, after years of neglect by previous governments," concludes the Councilor for Works, Roberto Herbón.
