After the resolution of the Canal Gestión contract and the takeover of the water service by the Consorcio del Agua de Lanzarote, many doubts have arisen among the citizenry. One of these questions is to which entity we will have to pay the next bill or if any changes need to be made.

The Minister of Water, Domingo Cejas, clarified these doubts this Tuesday on the program Buenos días, Lanzarote on Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero. Cejas pointed out that all those who had their bills direct debited, it will remain so

"The deadlines will be the same, now we will issue one bill and then the other, but we will normalize it," the minister explained.

Domingo Cejas indicated that "what was due" is already being processed in reference to the billing periods. "Now we will work normally from June or July for when it is our turn," he continued.

The minister concluded by sending a message of reassurance to the public, assuring that "we are not going to bill more than what is established".
