VOX has announced the appointment of Yonathan Arrocha as the new island coordinator of the party in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. The port worker from Arrecife will assume the responsibility of leading the organization on both islands with the objective of "consolidating the work developed in recent years and reinforcing the party's structure for the future".

The far-right party indicates that "alongside Arrocha, a team will work that combines young profiles with experience within the organization". The new structure includes Roger Deign as municipal coordinator in Teguise; Enrique Barrios, the party's current councilor, in charge of Arrecife; Nelson Pérez in Tías; José Martín in San Bartolomé; and Rafael García in Yaiza.

According to the party, these appointments are part of a strategy aimed at increasing its presence in the different municipalities of the Island and strengthening its territorial implantation.

VOX assures that it faces this new stage with "expectations of growth for the upcoming local and regional elections". In this regard, the organization has announced that it will intensify its presence in the different towns of Lanzarote and La Graciosa to convey its proposals on issues such as housing, infrastructure, security, healthcare, and public management.

“My priority objective is to consolidate a serious project that is close to the residents"

After his appointment, Yonathan Arrocha stated that he assumes the island coordination "with great enthusiasm and great responsibility", with the intention of working for the well-being of the residents of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

“My priority objective is to consolidate a serious project that is close to the residents of Lanzarote, actively listen to the inhabitants of every corner of the Island, and transfer their real demands to the electoral program with which we will run in the next elections,” he affirmed.

He also highlighted the importance of continuing to expand the party's work team in all municipalities. “We want VOX to be a useful management tool and a constructive alternative for Lanzarote, based on daily work, transparency, and common sense,” he concluded.
