The Art, Culture and Tourism Centers have accelerated all processes to implement the marketing of visit tickets only through their website.
“We want to raise awareness among our visitors about the benefits of purchasing tickets with a more comfortable, reliable, safe and sustainable system and that, in addition, will mean a significant saving of time”, explained the Entity's advisor, Ángel Vázquez.
Testing period
The sale of online tickets exclusively will begin to be implemented, as a test, in the visit to the Cueva de los Verdes and will be applied, depending on the results, to the rest of the centers.
This is a previous step to the implementation of access by time slots in the centers that receive a greater influx of people, scheduled for before the next summer season. “It will allow us to organize the flow of visitors to offer a more comfortable and higher quality experience” said Vázquez.
In that sense, the counselor will hold meetings with operators and agents of the sector to ”present the most outstanding aspects of this new operation”.
Discounts on drinks for residents
On the other hand, Ángel Vázquez has recalled that visitors who duly accredit being residents on the island will be able to benefit from a discount on the bill for drinks consumed in restaurants for the value of the center's entrance fee. “We continue working to strengthen our ties with the local population and give visibility to local and nearby products”.
