The rehabilitation works on the section of Alcalde Florencio Suárez avenue that runs from the Los Luchadores roundabout towards the LZ-2 road and La Calera street are progressing at a good pace and include the installation of an irrigation network and the placement of tree pits for the planting of trees.

This road will have characteristics similar to the section located in the area of the San Antonio church, with a central strip made of cobblestones, and a dozen ficus or Indian laurels, as they are already growing on the rest of the avenue.

The rehabilitation of the section includes the adaptation of the sidewalks to comply with universal accessibility regulations, correcting unevenness and ensuring that the sidewalks are suitable for people with reduced mobility and strollers.

The mayor, José Juan Cruz, visited the area along with the deputy mayor, Nicolás Saavedra, the councilors for Urban Planning and Mobility, Ulpiano Calero and Sergio García, and technicians from the city council and the company to supervise the works, budgeted at 363,0430 euros (including taxes).

These works consist of the complete renovation of the section improving road safety with aesthetic coherence with the environment. In addition, the necessary works are being carried out for the future modernization of low-voltage infrastructures, public lighting, and telephony through the installation of underground conduits and manholes.
