The Tías City Council promotes free activities, financed with funds from the council, for children registered in the municipality from June 26 to September 6. Tías has promoted this project in the summer with the aim of "promoting family reconciliation and equal opportunities".
“Enjoy a fun and inclusive summer” is one of the slogans of this project, organized by the Maramar association through the community strategy of the City Council, Conecta Tías. Excursions, games, theater, tournaments, gymkhanas and crafts will be offered and registration must be carried out through the website from 4:00 p.m. this Thursday.
The activities will take place at the Alcalde Rafael Cedrés Center for Early Childhood and Primary Education (CEIP) (Tías) and at the Concepción Rodríguez Artiles CEIP (Puerto del Carmen) from Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be early pick-up from 8:00 a.m. and late pick-up at 2:00 p.m.
This work is characterized by the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits, the promotion of companionship and coexistence, as well as autonomy, responsibility and respect. It also seeks to provide families with "the proper reconciliation of work and family life, as well as the acquisition of educational and coexistence habits in the free time of school vacations," the project reads.
