The Tías Town Council announces that, due to the heatwave affecting Lanzarote, which is expected to continue throughout the weekend with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees, the events scheduled for Sunday morning for the Carmen festivities are moved forward by one hour.

This schedule adjustment will affect the family show Cantajuego, by Coco and Pepe, who will offer songs, games, and endearing characters, inviting everyone to sing and laugh. This event is moved forward to 10:00 AM in Plaza del Varadero.

The already traditional Verbena del Solajero, enlivened by the duo Los Conejeros, has been moved to 11:00 AM in the Almacén de los Marineros, in the vicinity of the El Fondeadero civic center. And the jolateros regatta, organized by the Los Burgaos association, will take place in the Poril area from 12:30 PM.

The Tías Town Council reminds everyone of the basic recommendations for heatwaves, such as drinking water frequently, eating light and regular meals, such as fruits, vegetables, and salads, reducing physical activity, and wearing light clothing with a hat or cap.
