Some of the questions deal with whether you consider it necessary to improve school environments and create school streets or paths to guarantee the safety and accessibility of children.

The Tías City Council maintains its objective of involving citizens in the selection and prioritization of the actions planned in its Urban Agenda and launches a new questionnaire of 20 questions on interventions included in the Local Action Plan (LAP) of the aforementioned agenda.

This questionnaire online has been published on the institutional website, in its Services/Citizen Participation section with questions as diverse as whether you consider it necessary to improve school environments and create school streets or paths to guarantee the safety and accessibility of children; or if you consider it important to complete the urban cycle network and improve cycling connections on Avenida de las Playas.

The Councilor for the Environment, Carmen Gloria Rodríguez, recalls that the City Council seeks to ensure that municipal projects "not only respond to current needs, but also reflect the aspirations and desires of residents, fostering a sense of belonging and shared responsibility."

In this first draft of the LAP, the main actions derived from the Urban Agenda have been defined that will allow addressing the social, environmental and economic challenges of the municipality, contributing both to the well-being of the community and to the projection of Tías as a cutting-edge destination.

"The Tías City Council is developing a strategic plan focused on improving the quality of life of its citizens, while strengthening its position as a leading tourist destination," they say. This effort aims to balance local well-being with sustainability and economic development.

To achieve these objectives, the aim is to transform Tías into a more accessible, inclusive and healthy municipality, with efficient public services and urban spaces designed for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. Another challenge is to consolidate it as a model of sustainable and innovative tourism, which attracts those seeking a destination where culture, nature and technology are integrated in harmony with the environment.
