The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has sent a statement to the Arrecife City Council to denounce the lack of lighting in the neighborhood and ask it to solve the problem.
"Many residents of this neighborhood have approached this association and reported that after sunset it can be seen that some of the streets in the neighborhood have burnt-out streetlights and dark sidewalks. The lack of lighting is one of the problems that arouse the most neighborhood complaints, due to the feeling of insecurity it generates in the residents when the sun goes down," the Association points out.
The affected roads are Gaida Street, Tinamala Street and Logroño Street. "The lack of lighting also occurs in Julián de Leon Park, the Club los Leones playground, the Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente Park and in the Óscar Monseñor promenade," they point out from the association.
"It is the interest and acting tone of this Association to collaborate with public administrations to contribute to facilitating a better quality of life for the residents of our neighborhood and Arrecife in general," concludes the Titerroy Neighborhood Association.
