The Titerroy Neighborhood Association criticizes the City Council for carrying out works without respecting the stones in Plaza Pío XII

The Titerroy Neighborhood Association has denounced this Monday that the Arrecife City Council has ignored the citizens of this neighborhood, having started the renovation works of Pío XII Square without respecting the stones that were in the area, according to reports from this group through a statement.

The execution of the project has been launched this Monday morning, despite the fact that the residents requested the Council to respect the washed stones and not break them. Apparently, these stones have been in this location for more than 40 years, so the citizens intended to preserve them.

The request made from this association to the Arrecife City Council has not been fruitful, since operators and an excavator have lifted the Pío XII Square.
