The PSOE denounces that Arrecife allocates another 11 million as an advance to the owners of Ginory

The socialists criticize that the mayor Yonathan De León and the deputy mayor Echedey Eugenio "have not even requested the deeds for a plot of land that was the basis of the PP Coalition pact in Arrecife"

The PSOE of Lanzarote has denounced in a press release that the Arrecife City Council is allocating  another 11 million euros as an advance to the owners of Ginory.

"As always, in secret, without photos and without festivities. Thus, the payment of another 11 million euros for the owners of Ginory has been approved in the plenary session of the municipality of Arrecife, who have accumulated more than 40 million euros pocketed for a plot of land whose ownership and use we have never been able to determine. A windfall made in PP," the party criticized.

Thus, the PSOE has assured that "since the greatest mockery of public money in the history of Lanzarote occurred, on December 31, 2021, when Ecehdey pressed the transfer button, the government partners have not demanded that the owners of Ginory hand over the deed, nor under what conditions the land is."

"In such a way that the most expensive plot of land in the history of Lanzarote has no value. Now another 11 million euros are advanced, but the elimination of interest on them is not even negotiated," it continued.

From the PSOE they recall that between the more than 30 million in parties and the more than 40 million for Ginory, "PP and Coalición Canaria have burned almost 90 million euros, which flew from the municipal coffers. Millions of euros burned, while some make fortunes at the expense of public money."
