The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, has tested positive for Covid. The president has been confined at home since this Saturday, so she will not attend some official events such as the celebration of Canary Islands Day in Tenerife.
"I have mild symptoms, but I don't think it would be appropriate to put other more vulnerable people at risk," the president explained on her networks.
