The PP's "Blue Wave" mobilized this weekend throughout much of the island's geography as part of the European elections campaign to be held next Sunday, June 9. ‘A new electoral appointment in which ‘Lanzarote and La Graciosa have the opportunity to speak at the polls after the abandonment to which the socialist government of Sánchez has subjected us during these years,’ claimed the island's president, Astrid Pérez.

The delegation brought together almost fifty people, including supporters and public and organic officials, including the general secretary, Jacobo Medina, the Mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, as well as the councilors of the Cabildo and the councilors of the different town halls.

On Saturday, the "Blue Wave" toured Calle Real and the downtown area of Arrecife, where the Populars, led by Astrid Pérez, were able to see the citizens' discontent with the Amnesty law promoted by the Socialist Party and the president's lies, as well as the citizens' rejection of the most radical speeches that only generate noise, forgetting the needs of the Canarians.

“While some lie and create walls to divide the Spanish, in the PP we are not among those who sell our country for seven votes”, defended Astrid Pérez, who encouraged citizens to “participate in the European elections and prevent this way of governing and doing politics from prevailing in Europe.”

Faced with the concentration of the left-wing vote around the PSOE, the popular leader made a call not to disperse the vote of the center and center-right “because the effective defense of the interests of the Canary Islands requires that there be a strong parliamentary group of 27 countries behind it, as Gabriel Mato will have.”

The Populars insist that the only really useful option and the only way for a Canarian to defend the interests of the islands in Brussels is to vote for the Popular Party.
