The PP of Tías criticizes the City Council Government for being "comfortable in negligence"

The PP, led by councilor Francisco Aparicio, assures that the PSOE of the local government "has no initiative or ambition when it comes to promoting projects"

The Popular Party of Tías accuses José Juan Cruz's PSOE of the Tías City Council of carrying out improvements in the municipality only "when the opposition registers its proposals for debate in the municipal plenary session", says Francisco Aparicio, councilor and local president of the PP.

Aparicio made these statements after the local government "got to work" to deactivate the motion of censure in which the PP requested the execution of a project to improve the paving of Calle Nuestra Señora del Carmen, next to the church of La Tiñosa.

“Once again we see how the principle of action - reaction is put into practice and how socialists are only capable of getting their act together and working when we, from the opposition, show them the way”, Aparicio reproaches.

The Popular Party points out that José Juan Cruz's objective since the corporation was formed is to "undermine the supervisory and proactive function of the opposition as much as possible, establishing that the registration of motions must be done practically a month before the plenary session, which offers him sufficient margin to begin actions and have an argument to reject the initiatives."

Francisco Aparicio criticizes this way of acting by the government, which demonstrates its "little desire" as well as "the lack of initiative and ambition when it comes to promoting projects that go beyond mere day-to-day management."

Far from withdrawing the motion for the next plenary session, the PP councilor has stated that he will maintain his proposal since "it is not only necessary to fix the holes and loose paving stones, but this space should be the subject of a more complete improvement plan, taking into account that it is one of the busiest areas of La Tiñosa", he says.
