The PP asks the mayor of Yaiza to appear to explain the consequences of the annulment of the General Plan

"It is up to the government to report on the ruling and explain its scope in the planning of the municipality," say the popular representatives

The councilors of the Popular Party of Yaiza, Juan Monzón and Guayo Rodríguez, have announced that they will request the appearance of the mayor in the Plenary Session, so that he can report on the ruling that has just annulled the Supplementary General Plan of the municipality

The ruling, advanced this Monday by La Voz de Lanzarote, was issued on September 22 by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands, and involves the annulment of the entire document.

“Just as we have done during this term with other rulings, we understand that as members of the Corporation, the best thing is to know the judicial decision firsthand, to know the consequences of it and to know the response that the government is going to have”, argues the municipal spokesperson for the promoters, Juan Monzón.

For the PP councilors, "it is essential to know the roadmap set by the City Council, since the Supplementary Plan already had a previous ruling that affected a part of the document, specifically, what has to do with Coasts".
