The PP asks that the procedures be resumed to expand the Tías cemetery

“We are tired of proposals being supported to look good in the moment before the citizens, but then they are kept in the drawer to sleep the sleep of the just,” Aparicio denounces.

The PP requests that the procedures to expand the Tías cemetery be resumed

The Popular Party will once again ask the socialist government of Cruz Saavedra to resume the procedures for the acquisition of the land necessary to expand the cemetery and the annexed municipal facilities.

From the PP, they emphasize that "a year and a half has passed since the first request from the Populars was approved without a single advance in this regard."

At the same time, they have highlighted that, "from the PP we defended then that the expansion of the cemetery was something inevitable and absolutely necessary, and that the cumbersome procedures to buy the land forced the consistory to take the necessary steps for this purpose”, says the councilor and president of the PP of Tías, Kiko Aparicio. The government also recognized this by voting in favor of the proposal, stating that even the topographic survey of the land had already been carried out.

Kiko Aparicio explains that since then “absolutely nothing has been done and the expansion of the cemetery has fallen into the most absolute oblivion” on the part of the socialist government. “We are tired of proposals being supported to look good in the moment before the citizens, but then they are kept in the drawer to sleep the sleep of the just,” Aparicio denounces.

From the Popular Party they emphasize that land purchases "are usually very cumbersome, very slow processes, which can take even one or two years, so you have to work with foresight to avoid it being prolonged in time and the existing niches can be exhausted."
