The Popular Party of Tinajo demands that the children's park of La Santa be conditioned and improved

The Popular Party of Tinajo urges the municipal government to urgently repair the children's park in La Santa, since it does not meet the necessary conditions for the use and enjoyment of the little ones

According to the municipal coordinator, Carmen Camiñas, “it is time for the City Council to prioritize the repair of the leisure spaces for the boys and girls of the municipality of Tinajo, and especially those children's parks, as is the case of La Santa, which have been abandoned to their fate for some time”.

The popular representatives point out the deterioration and lack of maintenance of the installation in the coastal nucleus, which affects both the pavement and the park's own equipment. “Children's parks must be spaces where the safety of the little ones is guaranteed and that are also clean and well-maintained throughout their environment, in such a way that they invite their enjoyment, and that does not happen in La Santa and in many other towns in the municipality”, says Camiñas.

The Popular Party believes that, until now, the government has not applied a children's park policy that is “adequate and in accordance with the new times. The children's park is still seen as a mere place to put four swings and that's it, when a children's park is much more” they emphasize. In addition, they point out that it must be "accessible and inclusive" and a place that must be "thought out and conceived so that children can interact, enjoy, develop and also learn, and that is what the municipal officials should aspire to, who until now have only shown their neglect in this matter”, they denounce from the Popular Party.
