The new security cameras installed in nine central points of San Bartolomé and Playa Honda are already in service, after the tasks for start-up have been completed last week.

Isidro Pérez explains that the "three cameras are already operating in the town, two of them in the vicinity of Plaza León y Castillo and the third on Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera." "Another six" have been installed in various points of the coastal nucleus: institute area, accesses from the airport, industrial area and Princesa Ico.

“With this service, from the City Council we try to guarantee security in our municipality”, says Pérez, who appreciates the involvement of the Local Police of San Bartolomé, as well as the supervision provided around this installation that will be “decisive in terms of traffic, road safety and citizen security”.

"This service becomes operational a few months earlier than planned, after the works have been carried out without incidents," says the mayor.
