The municipal nurseries of San Bartolomé and Playa Honda will open their doors on July 1, as announced by the City Council.
"We will resume activity with all necessary precautions," said the mayor, Alexistejera, who stressed that "this way boys and girls can join and reunite with classmates and teachers and resume their activities."
The City Council of San Bartolomé affirms that, following the recommendations established in the Order of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands of preventive measures for the reopening of centers that teach the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years), it has adapted to them by adjusting the ratios of the classrooms and guaranteeing compliance with the rules to carry out the educational work "with the minimum risk for both users and staff."
On the other hand, the City Council requests the collaboration of families to maintain all the measures established in each center, informing them that they will have to complete a document and must comply with the recommendations established by the Ministry of Education of social responsibility for the use of these nurseries.
From the Department of Education, delegated to Alma María González, all interested families are informed that the deadlines for renewal of registration and applications for places for the 2020-2021 academic year will be opened shortly.
