The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, stated that "soon, soon, soon" the use of masks on public transport will be eliminated, although she admitted that they are waiting to see how the coronavirus and the situation in China evolve.
In addition, Darias also pointed out that the Ministry of Health is studying putting an end to the obligation to wear a mask in pharmacies.
"We are getting closer and closer and we will have to see how the next times evolve to make that decision, but obviously the epidemiological situation is getting better and better, but we have to see a little how the issue of China evolves to adopt the decision," she added during an interview.
In any case, she clarifies that there is still time to assess this situation in order to adopt the decision that will "always" go "hand in hand with the experts" because their "excellent criteria, their work and, above all, the excellent vaccination campaign" has meant that Spain is in the current situation.
