The Haría Municipality Platform (PMH) is 25 years old. "Since 1998, this formation has carried out numerous projects in the municipality, acting jointly with the Canarian Coalition in the period from 2003 to 2012," they point out from the party.
"Among the most important projects, it is worth mentioning the construction of the Órzola Pier, the creation of the Haría Secondary Education Institute (IES), the implementation of sanitation plans in Arrieta, Punta Mujeres, and the waters of Charco del Palo. Another of the party's historical milestones has been the defense of the Cueva de Los Verdes as a municipal asset, which has led the Justice to rule in favor of the municipal corporation in up to two sentences in which it is recognized, among other aspects, the debt of the canon by the island Council", explained from PMH.
"Providing green and sports spaces for the use and enjoyment of the residents of Haría has been another of the PMH's lines of work during the periods in which it has been in the municipal government," they point out from the Haría Party. In this case, being mayor Torres Stinga, all the neighborhoods were provided with an artificial grass court, the municipal pavilion was renovated, and pioneering infrastructures were created such as the construction of several paddle tennis courts.
From the party they point out that "in these 25 years there has been no shortage of policies aimed at the elderly and young people in the municipality, with a wide program of activities and actions aimed at their physical and mental development. In addition, there are many associations, groups, students, athletes and neighbors who have obtained support through the annual municipal subsidy plans and the municipal Employment plans."
In this sense, and to commemorate these 25 years of life of the Haría Municipal Platform, the formation will hold a meeting next Friday, March 3 at the new headquarters that will be inaugurated on Cueva de Los Verdes street in Punta Mujeres, where the founders and members of the party in its beginnings and the rest of the members who have been part of PMH during all these years will be honored.
In this regard, the founder of the party and current councilor in the Haría City Council, José Torres Stinga, has valued "the contribution and work that all the men and women who have been part of the Haría Municipal Platform have carried out.”
“From our beginnings to today we have always worked with a single objective, which is to defend and work for all the residents of Haría,” said Torres Stinga. "We have shown that we are the only party that can offer the municipality the stability it needs to carry out large projects such as those we have carried out in these 25 years of life of the Platform,” concluded the Haría councilor.
