The Government of the Canary Islands, meeting in the Governing Council, has authorized the signing of an agreement by which the Ministry of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Children and Families entrusts the Island Council of Lanzarote with the management of the preparation of psychological and social reports that serve as the basis for the opinion of the recognition of the degree of disability, for an amount of 181,305.51 euros, which will allow the hiring of two social workers and a psychologist.

This work will be carried out in coordination with the multi-professional teams of the Disability Assessment Center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a center dependent on the General Directorate of Disability of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Children and Families.
