The first play of the independent and alternative theater cycle arrives

Ticket sales for the February performances of alternative and independent theater are now on sale. Thus, next Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th at 9:00 p.m. the Dispara theater company will perform the play "Servants and Lovers." Tickets can be purchased at the TEA facilities, at the Altavista Society, El Almacén and Luna Record, and cost 8 euros.

The theater group that comes from Zaragoza will perform a comedy show of the art in which two lovers are going to get married and a problem arises, which leads to a confrontation between the parents, which gives rise to a funny play. As for the clothing, the actors will wear classic costumes and leather masks made by Italian artists.

The initiative of the GA-TEA Cultural Association (Amateur Theater Study Group Arrecife), which aims to bring alternative and independent theater to the Lanzarote public, will bring to the island from February 8 to May 2 to 12 companies from the peninsula and the Canary Islands that will perform works of this type on Fridays and Saturdays in the Librada Alternative Hall of the Altavista Society.

This work will be followed this month by the Tarambana company from Madrid with "Princesas Busconas" on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 26th; Amanttis Teatro with "Creatures" on the 22nd and 23rd; and Abrego Producciones from Cantabria with "The Heart of Antigone" on February 29th and March 1st.
