The Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Department of Education, has published the list of corrections to the files of the call for grants and aid for official studies corresponding to the 2023-2024 academic year, which can be consulted on its website.
Thus, students who applied for these grants have until July 18 to correct the required documentation through their own file on the website of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, specifically in the 'Corrections' section. The documents provided must be in PDF format and signed with the digital certificate of the grant applicant. Likewise, the study grant management team will also assist those interested via email becaslanzarote@fulp.es and by telephone at 690 25 54 26.
The Councilor for Education recalls that "these subsidies, which amount to a "total of 700,000 euros", are intended to help students and their respective families to cover the expenses involved in completing official studies, which in many cases have to be taken outside the island".
Specifically, for students who are pursuing their official degree and higher artistic studies outside the island, the individual amount is 2,000 euros, while students of official master's degrees and higher vocational training receive 1,000 euros; supplementary grants for student mobility programs amount to 600 euros per student and supplementary aid for accommodation, both in rental housing and in university residences, amounts to an individual amount of 1,000 euros more.
With regard to financial aid for those students who are pursuing their official studies on the island, the amounts range from 600 euros for those university degree students and for mobility programs, to 900 euros for those who are pursuing official master's studies.
