The Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Hunting of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, coordinated by Higinio Hernández, has started the campaign to distribute sand to the farms that were affected by the tropical storm Delta. Thus, the transporters of the Island interested in carrying out this distribution must go to the offices of La Granja, from eight in the morning to three in the afternoon, or call the phones 928 83 65 90 or 928 83 65 91, in order to formalize their registration.
The assessment for the transport of sand has been from the Montaña Rodeos area in Tinajo with trucks with a capacity of 10, 15 or 20 cubic meters at a cost of 35, 52 and 70 euros respectively for Tinajo; 40, 60 and 80 euros for San Bartolomé; 46, 69 and 92 euros for Teguise, 48, 72 and 96 euros for Yaiza; 48, 72 and 96 euros for Tías; 71, 76 and 102 euros for Arrecife; 89, 133 and 179 euros for Haría and from the northern Capellanía area the prices, for identical capacities, will be 162, 244 and 325 euros, including loading, screening and transport.
