The Cabildo of Lanzarote has published the provisional award of study grants for the 2024-2025 academic year, in order to ensure equal opportunities and support the training of students residing in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

The period to submit allegations will be open from this Tuesday, July 22 to August 4, 2025, and the allegations must be submitted exclusively through each applicant's personal file on the platform enabled by the FULP, cabildo de lanzarote.fulp.es

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, stressed that "these grants are a strategic tool to support our families and guarantee access to higher education, without economic or geographical conditions being an obstacle." In this sense, he added that "Lanzarote and La Graciosa need to continue investing in the future of young people, because only in this way can we move towards a more trained island, more autonomous and with greater capacity to diversify its economy."

The Minister of Education, Ascensión Toledo, explained that "the Cabildo has reinforced both the number of grants and the budget allocation for this call, responding to the reality of the island's students and the effort that many families make to sustain the costs of training." She also encouraged students to review their file and, if necessary, submit the appropriate allegations within the established period.

The grants include different modalities adapted to the academic and territorial reality of the island's students, such as grants for face-to-face university studies in the Canary Islands and the Peninsula, transport aid, non-face-to-face studies, training cycles and students with specific educational support needs.

For any clarification regarding the allegations, you can do so through the email becaslanzarote@fulp.es or the contact telephone number, 690255426.
