The Cabildo offers 10 free courses for the unemployed

The registration period for these courses, which will be taught in April and May, is now open

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Employment Area, has launched a new Training Program with an offer of 10 free courses aimed primarily at unemployed people.

“Our objective is to help people who are in an active job search situation to have new tools or knowledge with which to expand their possibilities of accessing the labor market,” said the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo.

For her part, the Minister of Employment, Nerea Santana, explains that “thanks to this new training plan, co-financed with funds from the Cabildo and FDCAN Funds, a total of 200 people will benefit, since each of the ten courses offered has 20 places.”

The training offer, which will begin in the months of April and May, includes courses in Occupational Risk Prevention, Backhoe Operator, Telescopic Handler, Work at Height, First Aid, PRL Masonry, Phytosanitary Basic Level, Operators of Elevating Platforms for People and Specialized Work in Palm Trees.

Those interested in these courses can consult the training offer and register from this Tuesday, March 23 until the places are filled, through the website www.masformacionlanzarote.com, or in person by downloading the form and submitting it to the Employment Area of ​​the Cabildo of Lanzarote. In addition, once the place is confirmed, they must present the job application.

Admission to the courses will be made according to the order in which applications are received, either electronically or in person. In the event that the number of registered exceeds the number of places, a reserve list will be drawn up in order of presentation of applications.
