The Cabildo of Lanzarote has authorized the special bus service on the occasion of the celebration of the Fiestas de San Juan Bautista, which will take place this weekend in the municipality of Haría.

Specifically, an additional device will be enabled on Line 7, on the route that connects the rear stop of the Haría church with the Arrecife bus station, with a departure at dawn at 03.00 and 04.30 hours on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June respectively. For its part, the rate established for this route will be that corresponding to the application of the current traveler-kilometer rate for the line.

The acting councilor, Marcos Bergaz, states that the company Arrecife Bus S.L. must "make available a high-capacity passenger vehicle, thus guaranteeing safe mobility for attendees, indicating that if necessary another vehicle must be available, as stated in the resolution issued by the Lanzarote Council".

It is also clarified that due to the characteristics of the service, the City Council of Haría must have "the presence of the Local Police, in order to establish order in the event of any incident that may occur".

Bergaz points out that this special offer of interurban transport "responds to our commitment to introduce facilities for mobility, especially for young people, expanding the availability of routes and adapting them to the extra needs that occur on the occasion of such a marked festivity in the north of the island, and those that will come throughout the summer in most municipalities"
