The Cabildo enables a new bus stop at IES Yaiza to guarantee the safety of students

On October 5, line 34 (Tías interior) will also incorporate a stop at the southern institute

The Cabildo enables a new bus stop in the parking lot of the IES Yaiza to guarantee the safety of the Baccalaureate students

The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Transportation, directed by Nerea Santana, has authorized the incorporation of the stop called 'IES Yaiza' in the itinerary of the intercity bus lines in order to facilitate the entry and exit of high school students who are studying in the afternoon.

  

Specifically, the lines that will incorporate this stop, starting this Monday, September 28, are line 60, which connects Arrecife with Playa Blanca, specifically with the departure time from the southern town at 12:55 p.m. and the return from Arrecife at 7:00 p.m., and line number 161, which goes from the Airport to Playa Blanca passing through Puerto del Carmen (in this case, the stop that will be made at IES Yaiza will be at the departure time from the Airport at 1:30 p.m. and return from Playa Blanca at 6:25 p.m.).

 

 Also, on October 5, it is planned that students traveling on line 34, which runs through the interior of the municipality of Tías, will also be able to use this stop.
