The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Public Works, informs that starting next Monday, October 6, at 06:00 hours, the LZ-30 road will be closed to traffic, in the section between Mozaga and the roundabout accessing Famara, due to the execution of road surface reinforcement works. The closure will remain in effect until the completion of the works, with the aim of improving the safety and condition of the road. The Councilor for Public Works of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Jacobo Medina, stressed that "the reinforcement of the pavement of the LZ-30 is a highly demanded and necessary action to guarantee road safety and improve island connectivity. We ask for understanding from residents and users for the temporary inconvenience that this closure may cause, but we are convinced that the result will be a significant improvement for all those who travel this road daily." It should be remembered that this action to renovate the road surface that connects both towns has been financed through the Canary Islands Development Fund, which is managed through the Planning and Project Coordination area, directed by Vice President María Jesús Tovar.

The island institution urges drivers and road users to exercise extreme caution, as well as to pay attention to provisional signs and the instructions of the construction personnel.

The Cabildo appreciates citizen collaboration in advance and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these actions, which are necessary for the proper maintenance and modernization of the island's road network.
