The City Council of Teguise has provided the council with five new cars for the Local Police and one for Civil Protection with the aim of improving and modernizing the means of transport that have become obsolete.

The Councilor for Police, Ginés González, emphasizes that "with the acquisition of these new state-of-the-art vehicles, a renewal process is being undertaken so that the personnel in charge of the security and order of our municipality are in the best conditions."

For his part, the Councilor for the Mobile Park, Eugenio Robayna, points out that "this is a great step for our security personnel, for their comfort and work well-being, and represents an improvement in the services provided, since previously they had outdated vehicles."

The vehicle that "the security corps already has is an all-terrain vehicle fully equipped with special and specific material to occupy the position to patrol." During this year, the vehicles will be delivered progressively according to the corresponding tender.

The means of transport that will arrive in the municipality are non-pluggable hybrid cars, category M for the Local Police, and all-terrain vehicles, category N, destined for civil protection and equipped with a rapid intervention fire extinguishing kit.
