From the Market area, which Maripaz Cabrera coordinates, they point out that the selection criteria for stalls "will respond to reasons of heterogeneity or homogeneity of the market, as well as the products or articles offered, among others, the promotion of agricultural and artisan products from the island of Lanzarote, as well as the promotion of agricultural and artisan products in general".
On the other hand, the Municipal Ordinance regulating Markets establishes that it will seek the direct sale of horticultural and artisan products from farmers and artisans of the island of Lanzarote, also taking into account the provisions of Law 3/2001 of June 26 on handicrafts of the Canary Islands.
"In this call, the selection criteria for the stalls are mainly aimed at promoting the primary sector, promoting agricultural products and especially the ecological production thereof, as well as promoting the artisans of the island of Lanzarote", said Maripaz Cabrera.
"To this end, the effective exercise, professionalism and experience demonstrated by seniority in the activity to be carried out will be mainly assessed, thus ensuring greater quality and correct provision in the sale of the products", added the head of the area.
