The Arrecife City Council has put out to tender the project to provide shade to the municipality's playgrounds, engineering works and construction work that will have, once awarded, an execution period of six months, with an amount of around 400,000 euros.
The councilor in charge of the area, Ángela Hernández, stresses that action will be taken in the playgrounds located in Altavista, Titerroy, La Vega and Los Pitufos, as well as in those in the neighborhoods of Maneje, Argana Alta, Valterra, San Francisco Javier and Argana Baja. The councilor considers the provision of shade areas "essential" "for the greater use and enjoyment of users and their parents".
The project will be co-financed with funds belonging to the Arrecife City Council within the framework of the municipal cooperation plans of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, and the deadline for submitting offers expires at 1 p.m. on July 20, and interested companies can obtain more information on the municipal website.
