The People's Party of Lanzarote has organized for next Monday, April 27, at 7:00 PM, a meeting focused on the reality of self-employed workers and small and medium-sized enterprises on the island. The event will take place at the Hotel Lancelot, in Arrecife, and is proposed as an open forum for listening and dialogue.
The initiative aims to learn firsthand about the experiences, concerns, and main difficulties faced by the self-employed in Lanzarote, while also publicizing the set of support measures promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands in this area.
During the meeting, the current situation of the island's productive fabric will be addressed, analyzing the economic context, the most immediate challenges for self-employed professionals, and the short-term prospects. Likewise, the focus will be on the practical impact of public policies that have been implemented in recent months to support the self-employed and SMEs.
The participants in the round table, among whom will be a representation of the Chamber of Commerce, will contribute their vision from the professional and business sphere, as well as from direct experience as entrepreneurs. Through their interventions, an approach to the daily reality of the group will be offered, sharing real cases and valuing the effectiveness of the adopted measures, in a format that seeks to encourage participation and the exchange of ideas.
The event will be closed by the president of the People's Party of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Astrid Pérez, who will highlight the role of the self-employed as the island's economic engine and the need to continue promoting policies that favor their stability and growth.
