New scholarships and transport aid corresponding to the 2022-2023 academic year have been awarded by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, with a value of "339,900 euros". The Minister of Education, Ascensión Toledo, stressed that "a total of 250
students from Lanzarote" will benefit from these benefits, whose main objective is to "alleviate the expenses" that the qualifications outside the island entail for families and students themselves.
The aid will be distributed for different modalities such as scholarships and aid for official face-to-face studies outside of Lanzarote; scholarships for official postgraduate studies in person outside the island; scholarships for official studies of Higher Professional Training outside the island; complementary scholarships for mobility programs outside of Lanzarote or scholarships for accommodation in rental housing or university residences outside of Lanzarote.
