The San Bartolomé City Council organizes a trip to the Costa del Sol aimed at registered people over 60 years old in the municipality, which will take place from November 28 to December 3, 2026.

This initiative, which has limited places, will allow participants to enjoy a tourist and cultural experience in some of the most outstanding enclaves of the province of Malaga, such as Mijas, Marbella, Puerto Banús, Frigiliana, Nerja or Ronda.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, has highlighted that this type of proposals “reinforce the commitment of the City Council to the well-being and quality of life of our elderly, offering them opportunities for active leisure, coexistence and the discovery of new destinations”. Likewise, he underlined that “we continue working so that our elderly feel accompanied, active and participants in the social life of the municipality”.

For her part, the Councilor for the Elderly, Carmen Medina, explained that “this trip is designed for our residents to enjoy a few days of rest, culture, and coexistence in a privileged environment.” Medina added that “from the Department for the Elderly we continue to promote initiatives that encourage active and healthy aging, generating spaces for meeting and shared experiences.”

The program includes direct flight to Malaga, stay at the Meliá Costa del Sol 4-star hotel, in Torremolinos, on a half-board basis, as well as excursions with local guide, lunches, drinks and travel insurance.

Registrations will be available from April 7, 2026, taking place on Mondays at the San Bartolomé Senior Citizens' Center and on Tuesdays at the Playa Honda Senior Citizens' Center.

The City Council reminds that places are limited and encourages interested people to formalize their registration as soon as possible.
