The San Bartolomé City Council has opened a period of 45 days for the presentation of offers for the auction of nine plots in the industrial area of Playa Honda for a total value of approximately 3.6 million euros, as stated this Wednesday in the Official Gazette of Las Palmas (BOP).
The municipal plots are located in sector number 11 of the industrial, commercial and service area of Playa Honda and have a total area of just over 9,000 square meters. The land was acquired by the City Council as a result of the definitive approval of the compensation project for ten percent of urban development in this sector.
The contract, as explained in the BOP, will be awarded through a public auction procedure to the highest bidder who presents the best and most advantageous economic offer. Each bidder may only submit one proposal or offer for each lot they wish to acquire.
In the lot made up of more than one plot, such as lot number 4, interested parties may submit offers or proposals for the purchase of the entire lot or of certain plots that comprise it. In the event that a bidder submits an offer for the acquisition of the entire lot and another bids to acquire specific plots, the contract will be awarded to the offer that includes the entire lot.
The Mercadona food chain will be installed in this industrial area of Playa Honda, which has already submitted a license to the San Bartolomé City Council. In addition, in this same place, a new facility opened in September to pass the ITV (MOT).
