The San Bartolomé City Council continues to advance in the improvement of municipal facilities with the comprehensive renovation of the exterior carpentry of the building that houses the Local Police Headquarters

This action, which represents an investment of more than 22,600 euros, began this week and will allow the replacement of the existing carpentry with new riga carpentry, improving both the functionality of the property and its state of conservation.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, points out that with this "we continue to fulfill our commitment to improve the conditions and workplace of our Local Police, a body that provides an essential service to the citizens. We want them to have adequate facilities while maintaining the responsibility to preserve municipal heritage and act with the utmost respect for those properties that are part of the history of San Bartolomé".

In this regard, the Councilor for Urban Planning, Marlene Marrero, recalls that “the Local Police building is located in Plaza León y Castillo and is part of the architectural heritage of San Bartolomé, so these works are carried out respecting its constructive and aesthetic characteristics through the installation of carpentry”, in line with the property.

This is an action prior to other initiatives in which a future project for the adaptation and improvement of Plaza León y Castillo is already underway, with the aim of continuing to revitalize one of the most representative spaces in the municipality.
