San Bartolomé incorporates six new agents into its Local Police

The City Council held the swearing-in ceremony at Casa Cerdeña, where Mayor Isidro Pérez highlighted the commitment, dedication to service, and training efforts of the new civil servants

The San Bartolomé City Council held today, in an institutional ceremony at Casa Cerdeña, the swearing-in of six new Local Police officers as permanent civil servants. The ceremony was presided over by the mayor, Isidro Pérez, accompanied by the Councilor for Human Resources, Antonio Rocío; the head of the Local Police, Lorenzo Martín Acosta; and the municipal secretary, José Manuel Fiestas Perdomo, along with members of the Corporation. 

During the ceremony, each of the officers was called individually to take their oath or affirmation of office and proceed to the corresponding signing, so that Aday Martín Falcón García, Divesh Kumar Mahboobani Juan, Laura Pérez Acevedo, Alejandro Pérez Hernández, Alejandro Reyes Rodríguez, and María Ángeles Román Guillén now join the Local Police force.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, conveyed his congratulations and recognition to the new officers for the journey they have taken to their definitive incorporation.

"From the San Bartolomé City Council, we want to congratulate these six new officers, men and women who have demonstrated their commitment to public service after overcoming a long, demanding, and rigorous process. Today they conclude a stage marked by perseverance and dedication, and begin another in which they assume a fundamental responsibility: to guarantee citizen safety and ensure the well-being of our neighbors," stated the mayorPérez emphasized that the officers have passed the selection tests convened by the Directorate General of Studies, Training, and Public Security Research of the Government of the Canary Islands, in addition to successfully completing their training period and more than 1,200 hours of professional internships, which has allowed their definitive appointment as career civil servants."It is an honor to announce their swearing-in as full members of the San Bartolomé Local Police Force. Their vocation for service, their sense of duty, and their responsiveness contribute every day to making our municipality a safe place to live and coexist," he highlighted

The mayor also had words of thanks for all the Local Police staff, made up of 28 officers, to whom he publicly recognized their daily work, their approachability, and their unwavering commitment to the people 365 days a year.
