The San Bartolomé City Council has reported on the liquidation of the Municipal Budget corresponding to the 2025 fiscal year, the results of which reflect a solid, sound economic-financial situation with the capacity to continue driving investments and improvements in the municipality's public services.

Among the main indicators, a positive adjusted budgetary result of 6,888,734.90 euros stands out, significantly improving the data recorded in the previous fiscal year. Likewise, the Consistory maintains significant financial strength, with liquid funds amounting to 33,583,382.94 euros and an adjusted treasury surplus for general expenses of 18,012,858.18 euros.

These results will allow the City Council to incorporate more than 4 million euros into the current municipal budget to finance actions considered priorities for the development and well-being of the municipality.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted that "these figures are the reflection of responsible, rigorous, and planned economic management that allows us to continue advancing in the projects the municipality needs without compromising the financial stability of the City Council."

The mayor added that "having sound accounts and solid treasury allows us to respond more agilely to the needs of our residents, continue improving public services, and undertake new investments that contribute to improving the quality of life in all areas of the municipality."

For his part, the Councilor for Finance, Antonio Rocío, explained that "the liquidation of the 2025 budget confirms the economic strength of the City Council and demonstrates that the management carried out in recent years has allowed us to consolidate a stable and solvent financial situation."

The municipal head of Finance pointed out that "the incorporation of more than four million euros into the current budget will allow us to address priority actions that we have already defined and that respond to real demands from the citizens."

Among the planned actions are the improvement of maintenance contracts for municipal buildings and gardens, investments in sports infrastructures and facilities for more than 1.2 million euros, including new multipurpose courts in Playa Honda, the renovation of the Civic Center of Güime, the rehabilitation of Plaza León y Castillo, paving works on different streets in the municipality, and various community initiatives.

Antonio Rocío also highlighted that “these results allow us to face the present and the future with guarantees, maintaining the investment capacity of the City Council and ensuring that municipal resources are allocated to improving the services, infrastructures, and public spaces that our neighbors use daily”.

The San Bartolomé City Council thus continues to consolidate economic management based on budgetary stability, efficiency in the administration of public resources, and investment planning aimed at the sustainable and balanced development of the municipality.
