The San Bartolomé City Council has agreed to grant a subsidy of 12,000 euros to the El Porvenir society.

This is an aid with which the City Council wants to help promote the sociocultural activity of this entity, so that it can assume the management and maintenance expenses and continue with its leisure proposals and programming planned throughout the year.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, points out that this subsidy is a commitment of the government team to underpin the actions carried out by neighborhood organizations and entities with historical roots in the municipality.

“No one can deny that the El Porvenir society is an island benchmark that has gone through different difficulties and from the City Council, our arm is always extended so that it can continue to be active and contribute collective value to San Bartolomé”, Pérez highlights.

In this sense, the San Bartolomé City Council and the government team want to encourage the board of directors, partners and members of El Porvenir to continue proposing proposals with which to offer new recreational initiatives for the residents of the municipality, thus reinforcing its playful and local character.
