The San Bartolomé City Council has allocated more than 112,207.15 euros in social aid during 2024 to improve the quality of life of its residents.
With this, the government team has reinforced its commitment to the well-being of the municipality's population, allocating a total of 112,207.15 euros in social aid during 2024, from which 145 people have been able to benefit directly, thus covering basic needs with which support and economic relief has been given to families in the municipality who are going through vulnerable situations.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, points out that "these aids are a sample of how the City Council attends to those who need it most. We not only respond to emergency situations; we also work to ensure that all residents have access to a dignified life and the resources necessary for their well-being."
The diversity of financial aid provided in the past year ranges from housing support to covering health, education and food needs, adapting to the different realities experienced by the inhabitants of the municipality.
Thus, among the aid granted, there are 89 rental aids for a total of 82,241.57€, facilitating access to housing for those facing economic difficulties, and 9 aids for mortgage payments amounting to 6,932.67€, helping families maintain stability in their homes.
On the other hand, ten more aids have been allocated for dental treatments for a value of 7,582.00€ and 8 for the purchase of prescription glasses for 3,517.00€, facilitating access to oral and visual health.
In addition, five of the recipients received a total amount of 769.29€ for school expenses, two to cover food and clothing expenses for a total of 1,000.00€, addressing the basic needs of the most vulnerable families.
In another order of things, economic support was offered for the payment of electricity supplies (1,446.39€) and 3 aids for the supply of water (361.41€), contributing to ensuring that homes have essential basic services.
The diversity of economic support also included the payment of hearing aids (1,800.00€), pharmaceutical treatments (1,005.76€), appliances (338.00€), and funeral expenses (1,544.92€).
