The Cabildo of Lanzarote announces the awarding of the renovation of the paddle tennis courts of the Lanzarote Sports City, which has fallen on the company CORPAUMAR for an amount of 33,195.09 euros, IGIC included.

This action, co-financed through the FDCAN funds, includes the supply, installation and removal of the grass in these sports facilities, with the aim of guaranteeing their functionality, safety and comfort for users.

The Vice President of the Cabildo and Councilor for Public Works, Jacobo Medina, highlighted the importance of this improvement for the island's sports community: "With this award, we take another step in our commitment to renew and optimize sports facilities. This project will ensure that our paddle tennis courts meet the quality standards that the athletes of Lanzarote deserve."

For his part, the Minister of Sports, Juan Monzón, stressed the positive impact of the intervention: "The Lanzarote Sports City is a benchmark for sports in Lanzarote. These improvements not only increase the quality of the infrastructure, but also reinforce our commitment to grassroots and high-performance sports."

The awarded company will have a period of 90 days to execute the work from the formalization of the contract. The intervention responds to the need to replace the existing grass, which no longer meets the technical and safety requirements necessary for its correct use.

With this award, the Cabildo of Lanzarote "reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of the island's sports infrastructure, guaranteeing safe and quality spaces for the enjoyment and development of the island's sports community".
