The Public Works area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote has monitored the progress of the works on Mástil street in Playa Honda. "This intervention will completely transform the mobility and accessibility of one of the main arteries of the town," explains the vice president, Jacobo Medina, who visited this work together with the Councilor for Works of San Bartolomé, Raúl de León, and the Councilor for Urbanism, Marlene Romero.

The Island Council recalls that the actions, of the project drafted by the City Council of San Bartolomé and financed by the Corporation, consist of the conditioning and adaptation of the road to a single platform, in addition to the incorporation of green areas and new street furniture.

"All the actions will contribute to improving the aesthetics and making the transit more pleasant, without prejudice to the parking spaces in the area," explains the vice president, Jacobo Medina, who thanked the City Council of San Bartolomé "for the cooperation and willingness to execute this work."

It should be noted that the execution period of the works is twelve months from when they began, and these have a budget of 940,896 euros, financed by the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN). The company in charge of carrying out the actions is Lanzagrava SL.
