PSOE criticizes Arrecife for being the municipality with the lowest income in Lanzarote, according to INE data

The socialists accuse the Coalición Canaria and Partido Popular government group of "wasting millions on parties while citizens become impoverished"

Arrecife is the municipality with the poorest citizens on the island of Lanzarote, as revealed by the income tax returns of Arrecife residents provided as data by the INE (National Statistics Institute). The capital municipality holds the dubious honor, with a gross income of 24,966 euros, of being among the poorest municipalities in Spain, in the Canary Islands, and by far the poorest in Lanzarote.

This data dismantles the web of lies of the governing group, highlighting three basic aspects:

1º The policy of permanent revelry in which the Canarian Coalition and the Popular Party live is immoral. "We cannot be the poorest citizens of the island while we waste public money by the millions," clarifies Cristina Duque, the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) councilor.

2º The subculture of waste, squandering, and rum and coke does not revitalize the city; it simply makes a few millionaires while ruining a majority who see no benefit whatsoever.

3º The Popular Party's 6 and a half years in the city's mayorship are serving to ruin the citizens.

It should be remembered that the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, promised that the city would be revitalized with constant parties until dawn, while the PSOE always understood that parties can exist, but key infrastructures are needed in the city, which has been abandoned to its fate in the haze of the eternal party, with costs in the millions.

Finally, as the socialist councilor Cristina Duque says: "The fact that the mayor of Arrecife blows 23 million on revelry does not revitalize the city, it simply fills the pockets of a privileged few."
